Neurodiversity in children

Many families are looking for a way to manage their child’s ADHD and build capacity for children diagnosed with ASD. Research shows that exercise programs incorporated with social skills are one of the most effective ways to do this.

Our exercise physiologist can create a custom program for you, and deliver face-to-face training and group therapy interventions. Our clinicians are highly experienced with children of all backgrounds, including those with ASD, ADHD, and a range of physical conditions.

Exercise Physiology

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will work with you to set achievable goals and provide you with safe effective strategies to improve strength, physical wellness, overall quality of life and assist with the management of conditions.

You will be provided with scientific and functional based individual tailored programs including a range of varied activities, exercise and stretching programs that will be updated sequentially as your condition improve.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a therapeutic and safe form of exercise with many benefits. The buoyancy of the water in conjunction with using low impact movements allows you to develop strength and fitness in a comfortable and fun environment.

Classes are open to patients after their initial clinical assessment appointment with Kate.

Hydrotherapy Sessions are held on Friday’s with Exercise Physiologist, Kate.

We have an incredible rate of retention, patients enjoy both the energetic and positive atmosphere and exercise.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapist will work with you to design your goal plan and assist you with equipment prescriptions and assistive technologies to improve your daily life.

OT strategies will increase and maintain your independence and mobility for access within the home and community and improve your overall safety, comfort, wellbeing and quality of life.

Speech Pathology

Our Speech and Language Pathologist will work with you to assess and treat difficulties with swallow, speech, voice and difficulties communicating.

Counselling

Our Counsellor provides a safe and inviting space for individual and group therapy, focused on providing you with tools and strategies to manage your mental health and process your experiences and feelings.

Counselling is focused on providing support and guidance to overcome challenges and make positive changes for your mental and physical wellbeing. Your counsellor can provide resources and facilitate referrals to relevant services.

Allied Health Assistance

Our Allied Health Support team are involved with your care and support team. They provide services and assist your Allied Health team in a number of ways.

  • Low cost assistive technology and equipment

Our Allied Health Support team are trained by our Allied Health Professionals to implement prescribed interventions and provide education and resources. They are passionate about your individual care and are strong advocates working closely with your Allied Health Professionals.
